St. Patrick's Day...

 

is such a fun holiday for kids.  They love leprechauns and all of the mischief involved.  There are so many books about leprechauns and St. Patrick's Day.

Here are a few of my favorites. 

 

 

I like to spend a little bit of time reading stories and doing St. Patrick’s Day activities around March 17.  This year, St. Patrick’s Day in on a Thursday.  That is perfect!  I can read a story everyday and do a fun activity on Friday.  Check out this freebie.  You can do it too!

 

 

The first thing to do ...

Hide the Leprechauns (St. Patrick's Day Word cards) around your room. Pass out the recording sheets and let your students find the cards and record the words.

There are a couple of cute worksheets and 2 writing activities as well.
