Does Poetry Give you the Blues???
I used to have a fear of teaching poetry, but I don't anymore. When I taught 3rd grade, the expectation for poetry was a lot! No one really knew what to expect. Now that the expectations have been communicated, it is a bit easier. Here is a graphic organizer that can be used with many different poems.
